Did you know:

Each year nearly 25,000 young people are emancipated from the foster care system at the age of 18, left to “do life” on their own.

Statistically their outlook is grim.

Over the next five years:

• One in Five become homeless
• Half are unemployed
• Many of the women get pregnant
• Most suffer from anxiety, depression
• 25% suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
• Many end up incarcerated
• Less than 3% graduate college
